1. Create your free account

Head to LearnATPL and click Start Free. You only need an email address no credit card, no commitment.
The free account never expires. You can explore the platform at your own pace before deciding to upgrade.

2. Set up your profile

Once logged in, tell the platform a bit about where you are in your studies:
  • Which ATPL subjects you’ve already covered
  • Your target exam date (optional but useful for progress tracking)
  • Your current training organisation or self-study status
This helps the analytics engine give you more meaningful feedback from day one.

3. Pick a subject to start with

LearnATPL covers all 14 EASA ATPL theory subjects. If you’re just starting out, we recommend beginning with one of these:

Air Law

One of the most heavily tested subjects rules, regulations, and airspace.

Principles of Flight

Core aerodynamics that underpins everything else you’ll study.

Meteorology

High question volume and a favourite area for exam traps.

Navigation

Charts, instruments, and calculations practice makes perfect here.
See the full list on the EASA Subjects Overview page.

4. Choose your mode

ModeBest for
Practice QuestionsDaily drilling, topic review, filling knowledge gaps
Mock ExamSimulating exam day conditions, testing your readiness
Weak Area ReviewTargeting subjects where your score is below 75%

5. Review your results

After every session, your dashboard updates automatically. Check the Analytics tab to see:
  • Your score trend over time per subject
  • Which chapters are dragging your average down
  • How close you are to the 75% EASA pass mark in each area
Once you consistently score 80%+ in a subject across multiple sessions, you’re in good shape to sit that paper.
