LearnATPL is an independent, web-based EASA ATPL theory exam preparation platform. It offers 5,000+ practice questions, timed mock exams, and performance analytics across all 14 EASA ATPL subjects. It is built by a pilot, for pilots it is not affiliated with EASA or any Approved Training Organisation.
No. LearnATPL is entirely independent. It is not affiliated with EASA, Austro Control, or any national aviation authority. It is a student-side study tool, not an official training provider.
No. EASA requires ATPL theory training to be completed through an approved ATO. LearnATPL is a supplementary revision tool. Use it alongside your ATO’s ground school or self-study programme not instead of it.
LearnATPL is designed for anyone preparing for EASA ATPL theory examinations whether you’re studying modularly, through an integrated course, or self-studying. It’s particularly useful for students at the revision stage who want structured practice and clear feedback on their weak areas.

Account & Access

No. The free account requires only an email address. No credit card is needed until you choose to upgrade to a paid plan.
Log in to your account, go to Settings → Billing, and select the plan you want. Payment is processed instantly via Stripe.
Yes the platform is fully web-based and accessible from any device with a modern browser. For the best experience on small screens, use landscape orientation for exam and analytics views.
No. Accounts are individual and tied to one user. Analytics and progress tracking only make sense per-student. If you’re a flight school looking for multi-student access, see the Flight School Plans page.

Questions & Content

The platform currently contains 5,000+ practice questions across all 14 EASA ATPL subjects. The question bank is continuously reviewed and expanded.
No. The official EASA European Central Question Bank (ECQB) is intellectual property managed by Austro Control and is not publicly available. LearnATPL questions are original, syllabus-aligned questions written to reflect the content and format of the real EASA exams not copied from the ECQB.
The question bank is reviewed regularly to reflect EASA syllabus updates. When EASA releases syllabus changes, affected questions are updated or replaced. If you spot a question that appears outdated or incorrect, please report it using the feedback button on that question.
Yes there is a Report this question button on every question page. Reports are reviewed and acted on promptly.

Exams & Results

The pass mark for all EASA ATPL theory papers is 75%. We recommend targeting 80%+ in practice to give yourself a buffer.
As many times as you like. There are no limits on mock exam attempts. Each attempt is logged separately in your session history.
Yes. All practice sessions and mock exam results are saved to your account and reflected in your Analytics dashboard. Your history persists as long as your account is active.
Currently the platform shows the correct answer when you get a question wrong. Detailed explanations with diagrams are planned for a future update this is one of the most requested features.

Billing & Cancellation

Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time from Settings → Billing. You retain access until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued.
Your account and all your progress data are retained for 12 months after cancellation in case you return. After 12 months of inactivity, accounts may be deleted. Contact support if you need to export your data.
Day Pass purchases are non-refundable once access has been used. For Monthly or Yearly plans, contact support@learnatpl.eu within 48 hours of purchase if you have an issue.
